Sooraj’s enthusiasm, courage to step out of his comfort zone, owning up when things have gone downhill and deliberately making an effort to fix things was inspiring for not just me, but for everyone in the team. I remember being asked how he managed to find time to own and lead Figma Fridays while being fully swamped with his existing tasks. He is one of the few people who doesn’t stop to ask for permission, he just does what is aligned with him (and will ask for forgiveness later if required 😃). His storytelling skills are exemplary and the artefacts he created during this tenure - be it initiatives or projects - will continue to live with me. I wish him humongous success and will always look out for him as he scales rapidly upwards.
